Rubel down against US dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE

May 30, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.9226 at the May 30 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell against the euro to 3.1502 and against the Chinese yuan to 4.1418 per 10 yuan but climbed against the Russian currency to 3.6482 per 100 rubles. 

Last week (May 22-26), the rubel strengthened against all major currencies at BCSE, gaining 0.25 percent against the dollar, 1.56 percent against the euro, 0.56 percent against the yuan and 0.12 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 6.91 percent of its value against the dollar in the first four months of 2023.
