Rubel down against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

June 8, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.9352 at the June 8 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell against the Chinese yuan to 4.1705 per 10 yuan but climbed against the Russian currency to 3.6294 per 100 rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.145 against the euro.

Last week (May 29 – June 2), the rubel gained 0.16 percent against the euro and 0.54 percent against the Russian currency but fell 0.26 percent against the yuan and 0.07 percent against the dollar. 

The Belarusian currency lost 6.8 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months.
