Rubel down against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

June 9, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.9451 at the June 9 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also fell against the Chinese yuan to 4.1855 per 10 yuan but climbed against the Russian currency to 3.6159 per 100 rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency this week and remained at 3.145 against the euro.

In the outgoing week (June 5 – 9), the rubel fell 0.84 percent against the dollar and 0.78 percent against the yuan but gained 0.73 percent against the Russian currency. 

The Belarusian currency lost 6.8 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months.
