June 12, BPN. The Belarusian rubel has depreciated against the US dollar to 2.9495 at the June 12 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It climbed against the Chinese yuan to 4.1664 per 10 yuan and against the Russian currency to 3.6007 per 100 rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency since the start of June and remained at 3.145 against the euro.
Last week (June 5 – 9), the rubel fell 0.84 percent against the dollar and 0.78 percent against the yuan but gained 0.73 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 6.8 percent of its value against the dollar in the first five months.
