Military doctors training near Polish, Lithuanian borders

June 27, BPN. A task-specific training of military doctors is taking place at the 1134th Military Clinical Medical Center in Hrodna and the Hoža training ground from June 26 to June 30, the defense ministry’s press office reported.

The drill focuses on training “skills and abilities while performing functional duties during medical evacuation while separate mechanized brigade carries out defense activities,” it added.

Military doctors are trained to provide first aid in combat areas, set up tents and other medical installations, the ministry noted.

A similar exercise was held in October 2022 in Minsk.

The drill is taking place amid Russia’s full-scale war on Ukraine in which the Belarusian leadership supports the Kremlin.
