Germany’s, Hungary’s envoys complete their missions in Belarus

June 28, BPN. German Ambassador Manfred Huterer held a farewell reception in Minsk marking the end of his mission in Belarus that started in September 2019, the German embassy reported on Facebook.

Hungarian Ambassador Zsolt Csutora also completed his mission and held a farewell meeting with the Belarusian Foreign Minister Siarhiej Alejnik, the foreign ministry’s press office said.

Alejnik thanked the diplomat for “many years of productive activities and a significant personal contribution to the development of Belarusian-Hungarian relations.”

The sides also discussed bilateral relations and regional issues reaffirming readiness to continue dialogue and develop bilateral cooperation, the foreign ministry noted. Csutora has served as Hungary’s ambassador to Belarus since September 2018.
