Rubel down against dollar and yuan at BCSE

July 18, BPN. The rubel has dropped to 3.0207 per US dollar and 4.2114 per 10 yuan at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

There was no trading in euros, with EUR/BYN at 3.399. The Belarusian currency rose to 3.3344 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (July 10-14), the rubel gained 1.46 percent against the dollar and 0.05 percent against the yuan, but lost 2.28 percent against the euro and 0.42 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 10.88 percent of its value against the dollar in the first six months.
