Information ministry blocks access to Belarusian online library

July 24, BPN. Belarus-based users cannot access the online library kamunikat.org, its coordinator Jarosław Iwaniuk has told BPN.

He would not comment on the reasons, confirming only that access to the website has been blocked in Belarus.

Since July 24, users in Belarus who try to access kamunikat.org see the information ministry’s message citing media law violations. The website can still be accessed from abroad and via VPN.

Kamunikat.org, run by Belarusians in Poland, is a large online collection of Belarusian books, audiobooks, magazines, music and videos.
