Rubel falls 0.23 percent against US dollar this week

July 28, BPN. The rubel has depreciated against the US dollar and the Chinese yuan at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It fell to 3.0258 per US dollar and 4.2221 per 10 yuan, but rose to 3.3295 per 100 Russian rubles.

There was no trading in euros today, with EUR/BYN at 3.3341.

In the outgoing week (July 24-28), the rubel fell 0.23 percent against the greenback and 0.54 percent against the Chinese currency. It rose 1.91 percent against the euro and 0.11 percent against the ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 10.88 percent of its value against the dollar in the first six months.
