Łukašenka goes to Africa to foster relations
December 9, Pozirk. “The official visit . . . to African countries begins today,” Alaksandar Łukašenka’s press office announced.
“His work will be primarily aimed at intensifying cooperation in all mutually beneficial areas. The visit will continue the purposeful work on establishing strong ties between Belarus and the countries of the African continent,” it said.
Later it was reported that the Belarusian ruler arrived in Equatorial Guinea.

Łukašenka left Belarus on November 29. He first went to the United Arab Emirates for a UN climate summit. He then flew to Beijing to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and later returned to the UAE.
Official photos show that Łukašenka is accompanied by his 19-year-old son Mikałaj and his eldest son Viktar, head of the National Olympic Committee.
Łukašenka visited Zimbabwe from January 30 to February 1.
