Military testing equipment amid Belarus’ combat readiness check

October 16, Pozirk. Mechanized units “started to perform combat training tasks” as a part of the ongoing combat readiness check, the defense ministry’s press office reports.

The troops “will move to the designated areas as soon as possible” to start combat training tasks, it noted. “Military and special equipment will be tested by control runs, including cross-country runs,” it added.

Military equipment and personnel will be moving on public roads in the Brest, Hrodna, Minsk and Viciebsk regions, the ministry said.

On October 3, Belarusian authorities announced another combat readiness check in the Armed Forces.

The Belarusian army is regularly conducting drills amid Russia’s ongoing war on Ukraine.
