Rubel up against US dollar, euro at BCSE

December 27, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.1953 against the US dollar at the December 27 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

It also climbed to 3.5204 per euro but fell to 4.4593 per 10 Chinese yuan and to 3.4831 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (December 18 – 22), the rubel fell 1.47 percent against the dollar, 2.43 percent against the euro and 0.95 percent against the yuan but rose 1.2 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 13.82 percent of its value against the dollar from January to November.
