KGB blacklists three more people as “terrorists”

January 8, Pozirk. The Committee for State Security (KGB) has added three more people to the list of “organizations and individuals involved in terrorist activities,” taking the total to 1,111 entries and 1,168 names, among them 400 Belarusians.

The additions feature Alaksiej Krasnahir, convicted of gross violations of public order, calling for sanctions and financing extremism. Human rights groups consider him a political prisoner.

The KGB also blacklisted Alaksandar Vituchnoŭski convicted of inciting hatred and Ihar Fiedarenka accused of inciting hatred and calling for sanctions.

People branded as terrorists are not allowed to receive money transfers in prison and conduct financial transactions as long as they are on the list.
