Rubel down against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

January 17, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.165 against the US dollar at the January 17 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
It also fell to 4.3645 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.4266 per euro and to 3.5801 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (January 8 – 12), the rubel rose 1.4 percent against the greenback, 1.3 percent against the yuan and 0.69 percent against the euro but fell 1.91 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 16.12 percent of its value against the dollar in 2023.
