Cichanoŭskaja meets with Argentine foreign minister in Munich

February 19, Pozirk. Belarusian opposition leader Śviatłana Cichanoŭskaja met with Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondino on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference yesterday.
“Argentina is a powerful voice [in the region]. We hope to establish some permanent contacts with the new government and president of Argentina,” Franak Viačorka, an aide to Cichanoŭskaja, told Pozirk.
Argentina’s new president, Javier Milei, vowed to strengthen ties with the United States and Israel and supported Ukraine in its struggle against Russian invasion. While in Munich, Cichanoŭskaja also met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the defense ministers of Latvia and Estonia, Signal and ChatGPT executives and took part in the Voices of Civil Resistance event, the politician’s press office reported on February 18.
