Belarusian, Chinese army sustainment officers meet in Minsk

July 12, Pozirk. Belarusian and Chinese army sustainment officers met in Minsk on July 12 to discuss cooperation.
The delegation of the logistics arm of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army is staying in Belarus from July 11 to 13, said the Belarusian defense ministry.
Its visit was timed to coincide with Belarusian-Chinese maneuvers being held in the Brest region near Poland and Ukraine from July 8 to 19.
NATO and Poland have expressed concern about China’s deepening military cooperation with Russia and Belarus — countries involved in aggression against Ukraine.
Beijing said the exercise, which includes parachute landing, is not directed against third countries.
In addition, a Chinese Central Military Commission delegation visited Minsk from July 6 to 8 to discuss joint training programs.
Chinese troops took part in the July 3 Independence Day parade in Minsk.
Meanwhile, Gen. Maj. Andrej Lukjanovič, commander of Belarus’ Air/Air Defense Forces, visited Chinese defense industry enterprises and military infrastructure facilities from June 11 to 13.
