German MP on Krieger pardon: remember hundreds of innocent prisoners
July 30, Pozirk. German MP Thomas Hacker, FDP, has taken to Twitter to express his joy at the pardon of Rico Krieger.
He urged the international community not to forget that more than 1,400 people are unjustly held behind bars in Belarus.
He blamed “dictator [Alaksandar] Łukašenka” for the human rights crisis.
Meanwhile, Deutsche Welle quoted an unnamed German diplomat as saying he was relieved at the the pardon of the German national sentenced to death.
