Rubel drops against US, EU, Chinese currencies

August 9, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated against the US, EU and Chinese currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

In today’s trading, it fell to 3.1247 per dollar, 3.4092 per euro and 4.3544 per 10 yuan. However, it rose to 3.5807 per 100 Russian rubles.

This week (August 5 – 9), the rubel fell by 0.04 percent against the dollar, 1.1 percent against the euro and 1.15 percent against the yuan, and gained 0.77 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency strengthened 1.34 percent against the dollar in the first seven months of 2024.
