September 10, Pozirk. Belarus’ weather stations registered 20 temperature records for the date on September 9, including a 94-year high of 28 degrees Celsius (up from 27.4C in 1932) in Minsk, according to Biełhidramiet.
The hottest day was in Brest with 31.5C reported (up from 29.9C in 1994) and Vysokaje with 31.4C (29.2 in 1994).
A 21-year high was recorded in Hrodna (30.6C vs. 28.5C).

The all-time record for the date at 31.8C was recorded in Vasilevičy on September 9, 1944.
Temperatures were expected to drop to 16C on September 10 in the northwest of the country and remain around 30C in the southeast. The record for the date, 29.6C, was recorded in Vasilevičy in 1932. Temperatures are expected to fall below 22C between September 11 and 13.
