Trade between Belarus, Azerbaijan rises 29 percent in January-July

September 3, Pozirk. Trade between Azerbaijan and Belarus rose 28.7 percent year on year to $248.2 million in the first seven months of 2024, AzerNews reported citing Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee’s data.

Azerbaijan’s exports grew by 44.8 percent to $24.4 million, while imports from Belarus climbed by 27.2 percent to $222.8 million.

Belarus accounted for 0.9 percent of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade in January-July, with its share rising by 0.3 percentage point from the last year.

The Belarusian State Statistics Committee (Biełstat) keeps data on Belarus’ trade by country under wraps.
