Rubel’s fall against US dollar continues

September 24, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated against the US and Chinese currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading, it slid to 3.2221 per dollar and 4.6144 per 10 yuan. However, it climbed to 3.4715 per 100 Russian rubles and 3.5828 per euro.
The rubel has been falling against the dollar for seven straight trading sessions. Since September 16, it has lost 1.16 percent against the US currency.
Last week (September 16–20), the rubel lost 0.94 percent against the greenback, 1.01 percent against the euro and 1.68 percent against the yuan, but gained 1.06 percent against the ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 0.19 percent against the dollar in the first eight months of 2024.
