Rubel keeps falling against US dollar, euro

October 16, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.3104 against the US dollar at the October 16 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) after hitting record lows last week.
The Belarusian currency also fell to 3.606 per euro but climbed to 4.6682 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.405 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (October 7–11), the rubel lost 0.95 percent against the dollar and 0.23 percent against the yuan. It was flat against the euro and gained 0.92 percent against the Russian currency.
The Belarusian currency lost 1.06 percent against the dollar in the first nine months of 2024.
