Rubel falling to record lows against US dollar in third consecutive trading

November 5, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.3324 against the US at the November 5 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE), hitting annual record lows for the third consecutive trading.

The rubel also fell to 3.6435 per euro and 4.7308 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.4152 per 100 Russian rubles.

Last week (October 28–November 1), the rubel lost 0.72 percent against the dollar, 1.1 percent against the euro and 0.57 percent against the yuan, but gained 0.02 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 4.44 percent against the dollar in the first 10 months of 2024.
