Rubel down against euro at BCSE on December 9

December 9, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.5999 against the euro at the December 9 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also fell to 3.4156 per 100 Russian rubles but rose to 3.3775 per the US dollar and 4.6432 per 10 Chinese yuan.

Last week (December 2–6), the rubel gained 4.58 percent of its value against the dollar, 7.25 percent against the euro and 5.08 percent against the Chinese yuan but lost 2.98 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent of its value against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
