December 17, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4631 against the US dollar at the December 17 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The Belarusian currency fell to 4.7742 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.3688 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency since December 13 and remained at 3.6743 against the euro.
Last week (December 9–13), the rubel lost 2.03 percent of its value against the dollar, 4.38 percent against the euro and 2.23 percent against the Chinese yuan but gained 1.2 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 8.34 percent against the dollar in the first 11 months of 2024.
