Rubel down against US dollar, euro, yuan at year’s last trading session

December 30, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 3.4735 against the US dollar at the December 30 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also fell to 3.5753 per euro and 4.85 per 10 Chinese yuan but climbed to 3.3488 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing year, the rubel lost 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar, 9.2 percent against the yuan, 1.57 percent against the euro but gained 4.3 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency lost 16.12 percent against the dollar in 2023.
