Rubel up against US dollar, euro, yuan at BCSE on January 20
January 20, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.4591 against the US dollar at the January 20 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.5585 per euro and 4.7276 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.3712 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (January 13 – 17), the rubel lost 0.09 percent of its value against the dollar and 0.6 percent against the yuan but rose 0.52 percent against the euro and 1.14 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency lost 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
