Early voting turnout at 36 percent on day four

January 25, Pozirk. Some 36 percent of voters have cast their ballots in the four days of early voting, the Central Election Commission (CEC) reported.
This is a record four-day turnout for Belarusian elections, according to Pozirk‘s analysis of the CEC’s historical data.
The CEC reported a turnout of 37.78 percent for the Brest region, 36.52 percent for the Viciebsk region, 36.57 percent for the Homiel region, 35.61 percent for the Hrodna region, 36.50 percent for the Minsk region, 35.92 percent for the Mahiloŭ region and 33.66 percent for Minsk.
Officials recorded the previous four-day record of 33.61 percent in the elections for parliament and local councils in 2024.
