Rubel hits five-month high against US dollar at BCSE on February 21

February 21, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.2071 against the US dollar at the February 21 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
This value is comparable to trading results of September 19, 2024, when rubel stood at 3.1994 against the greenback.
The Belarusian currency climbed to 4.364 per 10 Chinese yuan but fell to 3.5669 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.35 against the euro.
In the outgoing week (February 17 – 21), the rubel climbed 1.72 percent against the dollar, 1.07 percent against the euro and 1.68 percent against the yuan but lost 0.78 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 1.73 percent against the dollar in January, after losing 9.32 percent of its value against the dollar last year.
