BySol raising funds for evacuated journalist
March 4, Pozirk. The BySol Solidarity Foundation has announced a fundraiser for journalist Ksienija Łuckina after helping her to flee Belarus.
The requested amount is €7,000. Some €2,700 was raised in the first few hours of the campaign.
Łuckina has a serious illness that requires treatment, BySol said. “We expect most of the money to go to health care, and a small amount will remain for adaptation.”
BySol head Andrej Stryžak said 23 people had been evacuated from Belarus this year. They include ordinary citizens, not just prominent figures.
