March 17, Pozirk. A 16-year-old girl died in the Minsk region’s Dziaržynsk four days ago after using a vaping device, Vasil Dzemidovič of the interior ministry’s juvenile department, has told journalists.
The victim reportedly felt unwell and lost consciousness after vaping with her friends.
Belarusian police have been regularly reporting hospitalizations of children and teenagers linked to the use of e-cigarettes.
Dzemidovič said his ministry considers proposing a country-wide ban on e-cigarettes.
