Temperatures hit record highs third day in a row

April 20, Pozirk. Temperatures in Belarus kept hitting record highs for three consecutive days, according to Pozirk’s analysis of Biełhidramiet’s data.
Yesterday, the air warmed up to 25.8 degrees Celsius in Połack, Viciebsk region, located in the north of the country. The previous record value of 25.5 degrees was set 25 years ago on April 19 in Brest, southern Belarus.
Record highs have been reported in 33 locations across Belarus yesterday, including in Minsk, Homiel, Viciebsk and Mahiloŭ.
Weather forecasts indicate abnormally warm weather in the next few days. However, weather conditions in Belarus have been extremely unstable this month, fluctuating between record highs and lows.
