Rubel hits 21-month high against US dollar at BCSE on April 21

April 21, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.0453 against the US dollar at the April 21 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, hitting a high comparable to the value recorded on August 1, 2023, when it stood at 3.0373.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 3.4895 per euro, 3.6799 per 100 Russian rubles and 4.1203 per 10 Chinese yuan.
Last week (April 14–18), the rubel gained 1.6 percent against the greenback and 1.77 percent against the yuan but lost 0.86 percent against the euro and 0.97 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 10.25 percent against the dollar in the first quarter of 2025.
