Rubel up against key currencies at BCSE
May 21, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 3.0036 against the US dollar at the May 21 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 4.1212 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.7052 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.3727 against the euro.
Last week (May 12 – 16), the rubel appreciated by 0.34 percent against the greenback, 0.51 percent against the yuan, weakening 0.29 percent against the euro and 1.38 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 12.16 percent against the dollar in the first four months of 2025.
Georgia bans Belarusians from re-exporting cars, special vehicles
