Rubel slides against key currencies in summer’s first trading

June 2, Pozirk. The rubel has slipped against all major foreign currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In today’s trading, it fell to 2.9999 per US dollar, 3.4158 per euro, 4.1513 per 10 Chinese yuan and 3.785 per 100 Russian rubles.
Last week (May 26 – 30), the rubel appreciated by 0.33 percent against the greenback, 0.44 percent against the euro and 0.82 percent against the yuan but weakened 0.58 percent against the Russian ruble.
The Belarusian currency gained 13.72 percent against the dollar in the first five months of 2025.
