September 1, Pozirk. The rubel strengthened to 2.9714 against the US dollar at the September 1 trading session of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
The Belarusian currency also climbed to 4.1618 per 10 Chinese yuan but dropped to 3.6938 per 100 Russian rubles.
The rubel has not traded against the European currency and remained at 3.4575 against the euro.
Last week (August 25 – 29), the rubel gained 0.2 percent against the dollar and 0.01 percent against the Russian ruble but lost 0.21 percent against the euro and 0.86 percent against the yuan.
The Belarusian currency gained 14.3 percent against the dollar in the first eight months of 2025.
