Łukašenka extends visa waiver for Europeans until 2027

December 10, Pozirk. Alaksandar Łukašenka has approved an extension of a visa waiver for European nationals until December 31, 2026, his press office reported yesterday.
The visa-free entry program covers 38 European countries, most of which are labelled “unfriendly” by Minsk. Launched in July 2024, it allows tourist trips to Belarus of up to 30 days via all checkpoints.
The visa waiver applies to nationals of Andorra, Australia, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Portugal, Romania, San-Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, the UK and the Vatican.
Citizens of Latvia, Lithuania and Poland are additionally allowed trips of up to 90 days.
