Hančarenka appointed head coach of Belarus’ soccer team

January 6, Pozirk. The Executive Committee of the Belarusian Football Federation has approved Viktar Hančarenka, one of the most successful soccer managers in Belarus, as head coach of the national soccer team.

He is taking over from Carlos Alos of Spain, who had led the national team from August 2023 to December 2025.

Hančarenka has been active in the field since 2007. He enjoyed his greatest success with BATE Barysaŭ, leading the team to six Belarusian championship titles

From 2016, he had coached various Russian teams, including Moscow’s CSKA.
