Rubel strengthens on January 20

January 20, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.8963 against the US dollar and 3.7175 per 100 Russian rubles at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency weakened to 4.1578 per 10 yuan. The euro was not traded at the session. On January 15, the rubel traded at 3.3910 per euro.

Last week (January 12-16), the rubel rose by 2.14 percent against the euro, 1.18 percent against the US dollar and 1.33 percent against the yuan, and fell by 0.37 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 16.43 percent against the dollar in 2025.
