Rubel up against US dollar, yuan at BCSE

January 21, Pozirk. The rubel has strengthened to 2.8885 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also climbed to 4.11412 per 10 yuan but dropped to 3.7197 per 100 Russian Rubles.

The rubel has not traded against the European currency since January 15 and remained at 3.3910 against the euro.

Last week (January 12-16), the rubel rose by 2.14 percent against the euro, 1.18 percent against the US dollar and 1.33 percent against the yuan but fell by 0.37 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 16.43 percent against the dollar in 2025.
