Rubel drops against US dollar, yuan at week’s last trading

March 13, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated to 2.9332 against the US dollar at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).

The Belarusian currency also dropped to 4.3001 per 10 yuan but climbed to 3.3625 per euro and to 3.6972 per 100 Russian rubles.

In the outgoing week (March 9-13), the rubel fell 0.25 percent against the US dollar and 0.81 percent against the yuan, but rose 0.86 percent against the euro and 0.69 percent against the Russian ruble.

The Belarusian currency gained 1.74 percent against the dollar in the first two months of 2026.

Central bank’s net foreign currency assets up 4.6 percent in February
