BySol raises funds for cancer-hit leader of famous Free Choir in a day
May 6, Pozirk. It took Belarus’ BySol solidarity foundation one day to raise more than €8,500 for Halina Kazimiroŭskaja, the conductor of the famous Volny Chor (Free Choir), a cultural force behind the country’s 2020 pro-democracy uprising.
She will use the money to pay the rent and buy food and drugs as she battles against cancer.
