Rubel slips against major currencies at BCSE

September 25, Pozirk. The rubel has depreciated against key currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.

It slid to 3.2629 per US dollar, 3.463 per euro, 4.4574 per 10 yuan and 3.3939 per 100 Russian rubles in today’s trading.

The rubel rose by 0.08 percent against the dollar, 0.23 percent against the euro and 0.57 percent against the yuan at the BCSE last week, but fell by 0.57 percent against the Russian currency.

The Belarusian currency lost 17.44 percent of its value against the dollar from January to August.
