Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,039
January 30, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 2,387 (new daily record) from 738,601 on Saturday to 740,988 on Sunday, with the death toll rising by 15 from 6,024 to 6,039, according to the country’s health ministry.
The ministry said that a total of 732,012 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 2,249 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.
As many as 11,691,404 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Saturday, with 43,184 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.
As of January 28, as many as 5,321,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,447,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
