February 6, BPN. Photographer Uladzimir Hrydzin has been detained in Minsk, Radio Svaboda reports. Hrydzin collaborated with this media outlet in the past.
Contact with the photographer was lost in the afternoon of February 4. Family members who went to his home saw signs of a search: his belongings were scattered and rubbish was on the floor, while his laptop and camera were gone. Previously, the photographer had been detained on September 13, 2020, following one of the Sunday protest rallies. He spent three days in the temporary detention center before the trial. On September 16, the court had sentenced Hrydzin to 11 days of arrest.
Currently, 33 media representatives remain behind bars.
