Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,159

February 7, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 5,869 from 777,391 on Sunday to 783,260 on Monday, with the death toll rising by 12 from 6,147 to 6,159, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 770,567 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 440 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 11,967,413 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Sunday, with 22,230 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of February 4, as many as 5,413,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,586,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
