Lukašenka claims that the West invested over $6 billion in the “attempt of a colour revolution” in Belarus
February 8, BPN. At the meeting of the Security Council on February 8, Aliaksandr Lukašenka claimed that the West had invested over $6 billion in the “attempt of a colour revolution” in Belarus.
“They planned a colour revolution in the center of Europe, but all they got was a failed revolt,” Lukašenka was quoted as saying by his press service. “American (respected ones) experts and political analysts decsribed it as a failed attempt at an unconstitutional coup.”
“There is a huge amount of money invested in this ‘failed attempt’. According to our calculations (what we could trace), it exceeds six billion dollars. For Belarus, it’s an exorbitant price,” he added.
Lukašenka claims that now “those who have failed to provide a result for the money they received would try to stir people up again.”
