Consumer prices grew by 1.5% in January and by 10.4% on an annual basis

February 10, BPN. According to the National Statistical Committee, consumer prices for goods and services grew by 1.5% in January 2022 compared to December 2021.

On a year-on-year basis (January 2022 to January 2021), inflation was at 10.4%.

Over the past month, the prices of food grew by 2% (12% over the year), non-food products by 0.8% (9.3%), services by 1.7% (9.1%).

In 2021, consumer prices grew by 9.97% in Belarus. In particular, food prices grew by 11.44%, non-food prices by 9.92%, and services prices by 7.58%.
