Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,253

February 13, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 8,921 (new daily record) from 823,045 on Saturday to 831,966 on Sunday, with the death toll rising by 16 from 6,237 to 6,253, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 817,900 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 2,043 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 12,137,806 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Saturday, with 29,538 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of February 11, as many as 5,490,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,724,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
