Belarus’ official coronavirus death toll rises to 6,407

February 23, BPN. The total number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Belarus increased by 6,230 from 890,089 on Tuesday to 896,319 on Wednesday, with the death toll rising by 15 from 6,392 to 6,407, according to the country’s health ministry.

The ministry said that a total of 882,376 people had recovered from the coronavirus, and 1,809 people had been discharged from hospitals over the past 24 hours.

As many as 12,343,035 tests for the coronavirus had been carried out in the country by Tuesday, with 25,591 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

As of February 21, as many as 5,582,000 people in Belarus had already received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and over 4,904,000 people had been fully vaccinated with two doses.
